What is your check in and check out time? Check in time is between 3pm and 11pm. If you are planning to arrive later than 11pm, please call the office to make arrangements for getting your room key. Check out time is 12pm ( noon).
Do you charge for extra guests? Yes, we do. There is a charge of $20 person per night for guests over 4 per room. Our rooms that accomodate more than 2 guests do so with a sleeper sofa, a trundle bed, or a futon. Not all rooms can sleep more than 2 guests, so please make sure when making reservations that your request a room that will accomodate the number in your party.
What is served at breakfast? Our breakfast is an Extended Continental that is served from 8:00 am to 10:00 am every morning (coffee is ready by 8 am) in our lobby. We offer fresh pastries, fresh cut fruit, whole fruit, yogurt, cereal, oatmeal, and hard boiled eggs. We have coffee, tea, and orange juice as well. You are welcome to eat in the lobby, the garden, the roof top garden or take your food back to your room.
Do you allow smoking? Not in any of the rooms. You can smoke outside (the gardens); we just ask that you be courteous to other guests. You can ask for an ashtray in the lobby.
Do you have any equipment for the beach? We have beach chairs and umbrellas that attach to the chairs. We do not have beach towels so make sure to bring one if you need one!
Is the Lodge located right on the beach? No, we are just up from the beach about 800 feet. It takes about 3-4 minutes to walk down to the beach just across the Coast Hwy. Because we sit up on a hill, we have great ocean views from a lot of our rooms. The views from our 3rd floor Roof Top Garden are the best in Cardiff!
Do you have parking? Yes, we have underground parking that can be accessed off the alley behind our building , and it's free!
Do you have WiFi? Yes, we do and it is free!
Do you allow pets? Yes, We do allow pets, up to 20 lbs, and charge $30 per stay.
